Last night I went to bed with the guilty but happy thought that today was my first day off work since before Christmas that I hadn't had to share the house with either children or husband. Time to craft I thought. But oh no, life isn't that simple is it? I woke at 3am with a migraine and I just knew that today was either going to be a complete right off, or spent in a painful fog. Fortunately the latter, so I was determined to make the most of my time, but not fit to do anything which involved thinking, I resorted to an old favourite, rippin' n stickin'. Or decopatch as it is known. I'd had an idea for while involving a yatch shape and a world map, so through the fog, this appeared..........
It was fun to do, but the quality map paper was a lot tougher than the decopatch sheets we're used to using.
I made it with my sister in mind, as she loves sailing & travelling. Perhaps if she leaves a nice comment about it, I'll send it on its way!!
