BOOK CLUB
I forgot to mention yesterday that the new book the Club have chosen to read is The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows. And the debate meeting will be at K&N on Tuesday 12th October.
All who had read A Thousand Splendid Suns loved it and so far it is our highest scoring book getting a resounding 9/10.

Indian Summer I read this morning (yes, on 'my' paper round!!), that we are due a couple of lovely weeks of sunshine. Lets hope its true. Certainly there have been some beautiful days recently and today has the same promise. However, which ever way you dress it up winter is not too far away now, but if we can keep it at bay for a little bit longer, that will give us time to knit something warm and cosy.
