New stock arrives all the time at this time of year. The major trade shows are underway and temptation is all around me!
I love these coasters, with their words of wisdom!
and this cute row of houses from East of India which would make a great picture for a new home gift.
We've always been fans of Ulster Weavers. Their quality is far superior to any other similar company and so I'm pleased to say we've 'topped up' our range, including the ever popular rooster range.
We've got some great yarns in at the moment, not least the one pictured below. Reflections is a mohair/wool/acrylic DK with a meterage of 550m per 100g ball. Priced at just £4.99 this looks great knitted or crocheted.
One ball would make a granny square lap blanket. Perfect economic knitting for these winter evenings.
L to R green/brown/, orange/yellow, black/grey The tones change slowly through out the ball.
We've been trying to get CanCan yarn is stock again - and failing! It's still out of stock with the distributors and is in huge demand so a little shop like our would be lucky to get it again before Easter!
However, we do have some Flamenco!
And it's very pretty. Knitted up on 6 - 7mm needles it creates a very neat scarf which would enhance any outfit. 2 balls are all that's needed and at £3.50 a ball, its a bargain too.
We're stocking two tone blue (as pic), black/grey & pink/purple. Be quick if you want some!
It would seem that Hatherleigh has missed having a little Braintree clothing to browse through.
We don't have a changing room & we don't have a lot of space, but we do have a small carefully selected range of very wearable tops.
All pure organic hemp or bamboo, Braintree offers a guilt free addition to any wardrobe.
It was great to be back to our usual Saturday afternoons of creativity. This time it was Tunisian crochet which was keeping us quiet as we all concentrated hard to master this new technique.
Likened to a cross between knitting & crochet, it isn't really that difficult and I'm pleased to report even those who previously would rather have eaten glass than crocheted! actually managed it admirably.
Well done Sarah!
An inspirational gift & craft shop in a pretty market town.
