Firstly, my thanks to everyone for the fantastic turn out for our Sponsored Knit. It turned into quite an evening. I doubt there were many topics of conversation we didn't touch on. Anything from composting through games consoles for young offenders to alternative uses for an orange! It truly was varied.

Our thanks go to Sue (head of the table!) for offering to sew our strips together into a blanket. I fear it may be a Dogs Trust blanket, rather than a Help The Aged!

Today's post is to remind those of you who have kindly agreed to join our Sponsored Knit to raise funds for North Devon Hospice and make blankets for Age Concern and the Dogs Trust, that it is this Tuesday. 7.30pm in the shop. Please bring a pair of 4mm needles and some DK yarn. We will have spares if needed. Don't forget to collect as many sponsors as possible (per row of 20 stitches knitted in 2 hours). For anyone not taking part in the knit, but who would like to help this good cause a collection pot will be in the shop all next week, to help boost of donation.
Anyone attending on Tuesday who has a fold up chair, please bring it as we may run short!
