Oh yes! that is what we produced at the Saturday workshop this week. You can't beat a bit of mixed media for a thoroughly absorbing afternoon of creativity.
We all began with a blank canvas and some die cut flowers chosen from a range of scrap booking papers.
From there it was stamping, painting, inking, ripping, sticking, splattering, dabbing - you name it, we did it.
What I always like about these classes is how different the final results are.............
This was one I'd had on the wall for the past few weeks to act as a kind of guide.
Penny made a very elegant canvas following a similar theme.
Olive made a world class parcel canvas.
Sue said her flowers reminded her of water lilies on a pond and so the frogs moved in!
Pat had just celebrated a wedding anniversary so made these keepsake canvas.
A little 'rigging' gave Emily's canvas a very nautical look.
Eileen kept things simple with this pretty one.
And I'd enjoyed getting inky with this one.
We decided mixed media should be scheduled in on a regular basis, it was such therapy!
