Rag Rugs

There has been a huge interest in our rag rugging workshop this Saturday and we are now fully booked.

I apologies if we haven't been able to fit you in this time. More tools are on order, but as they are handmade this may take a few weeks. However, once we have them in stock we will run the course again for those who missed it. If you're interested in doing it next time, please put your name down in the shop, or via the comments on here.

If you're book in for this Saturday, I look forward to seeing you, in the shop at 2pm. I'll have the kettle on!

The quilts keep coming. Today Sue T was sewing the final touches to her first quilt. Sandwiched with a nice thick wadding this quilt is all ready for a retro camping trip. Actually, make that a glamping trip!

Rags to riches That was the story today. We began our rag rugs this afternoon with this popular and busy workshop which we will continue to do on Monday mornings, now that all our current patchwork projects are getting to be finished. I'll keep you posted on the progress of our rugs over the weeks to come. French Sue has been prolific in her craft recently and here she can be seen wearing a top she made the morning of our screen printing, so that she could decorate it in the afternoon! Beneath that is one of 2 matching quilts she made. Good...
