Floral fun for a fiver

Blossom. The first signs that summer and all it promises, are just around the corner.

Well, if you're getting a little impatient and feel the need to hurry things along, why not join our workshop this Saturday 2nd April at 2pm. Everything will be provided, and it costs just £5.

We will be making blossom to adorn our homes. My son Lewie made some for us. Not sure what fruit is likely to follow this array of coloured blooms, but it prettied up the lounge, so I'm not complaining.

Close to the Wire Saturday afternoon saw our workshop ladies knitting, crocheting, threading and twisting wire, to create some very pretty results. Silver with and aqua beads were knitted to make a stunning cuff bracelet. This very elegant necklace was created using bronze with and rose shaded beads. Finished off behind the neck with a taffeta ribbon. Silver wire and ocean coloured beads knitted and then plaided together gave this bracelet its charm. A similar technique was used for this bright summery bracelet too. Lilac & gold provided the basic for another delicate necklace - perfect for long hot summer evening. Apologies ladies for...

Morning petal Firstly, Happy Mothering Sunday to all mums out there. Yesterday at our workshop we gave spring a helping hand, and made some blossom. It was a a relaxed afternoon of stamping & painting little bits of paper, which we then screwed up! I guess you had to be there. Anyway, I hope you'll agree the finish branches are very pretty. The artists at work! There we are, a small selection of our adorned twigs & branches. Simple, but effective. Wishing you all a lovely day.
